Facing West reflects a life-long love affair with home: Western Australia. From the tropics of the Kimberley, the red dirt of the western deserts, to the golden patchwork of the wheat belt and the tall timbers of the southwest, each work represents a connection to land, a connection to our identity as Western Australians.
Soosie has been internationally recognised in felt-work for the past 30 years. Her highly skilled, sculptural forms and her use of colour defy the medium.
This exhibition brings together unseen works over the last two years. It is an exhibition not to be missed.
