Yuting Kuo | Den L Scheer | Felicity Lacey | Morgan Schaafsma | Jessica Whiteman | Stephanie De Biasi

Opening: 6pm on Wednesday 3 July 2019

exhibition runs until 14 July:  gallery hours:  daily 10am – 4pm

This exhibition showcases the work of recent art school graduates: two artists from Edith Cowan University and five from Curtin University of Technology. The artists were selected by David Forrest and Jánis Nedéla, the directors of Gallery East in consultation with the Art Schools.

Started in 2000 by Norah Ohrt of Perth Galleries and joined by Gallery East in 2007, this exhibition returns after a six year gap and marks its fifteenth manifestation, this time  at Earlywork, South Fremantle.

The concept of the exhibition is to afford graduate artists the opportunity to exhibit their work as a stepping stone by exposing their works to collectors, curators and other commercial galleries in the environment of a commercial art gallery.
