Under-story
an exhibition of new work

16 – 25 May 2025

Opening 6pm Friday 16 May.

“And for all this, nature is never spent;
There lives the dearest freshness of deep down things.”
— Gerard Manley Hopkins, God’s Grandeur

This exhibition of painting and ceramics draws from the enduring strength of the natural world. In brushstroke and clay, the work speaks to cycles of regeneration, quiet defiance, and the tenacity that pulses through living systems. It is a hymn to the wild and the resilience that persists not because of us, but in spite of us.
