Evidence continues to surface demonstrating that Aboriginal culture is well over 65,000 years old . A constant in Aboriginal culture is the ancestral story telling that imparts knowledge not just about country and mapping, but includes law which instils a sense of place and identity.
This exhibition is a bold and colourful depiction of these stories from remote community art centres including from the very heart of the beginning of the contemporary Aboriginal art movement Papunya, Haasts Bluff, Balgo, the APY lands and the Martumili artists from the Pilbara.

Exhibition continues to 29th October 11am – 5pm, Wed-Sun
